blog5Polyurethane tread molded to a cast-iron, aluminum or polyolefin core. Sizes range from 3.25” to 16” in diameter and 1-1/4” to 4” wide. With capacities ranging from 70 to 7,000 pounds, the polyurethane wheels we provide work well for manufacturing, warehousing, food processing, hospitals, automotive and institutional use.

Our tread is chemically bonded to insure long life and non-separation. These wheels are highly recommended, offering protection for almost any type of floor. A grease fitting is installed into the wheel hub on most polyurethane wheels, 4” diameter and above. Common applications include, stock carts, platform trucks, job boxes and tool boxes.

Polyurethane elastomer tread is chemically bonded.
Offers higher weight capacities while providing good floor protection and quiet rolling operation.
Optional precision ball bearings and tapered roller bearings require less effort to start up and maintain a rolling load also generating less friction heat and may prolong the life of the wheel.
Works well in both indoor and outdoor environments, however, a cast iron core can rust. If this is an issue, look at using aluminum or polyolefin core wheels.
