Ductile Steel Wheels
Ductile steel wheels are a combination of special alloys that give them a higher weight capacities than cast iron and are more economical than drop forged steel. Also referred to as malleable iron, the material may flex rather than crack or break when submitted to an extreme shock load.
An extra thick walled, heavy-duty core, hub, and tread face make up the these wheels. Precision and tapered bearings maximize mobility and performance in towing and severe use environments. They have a tensile strength of 45,000 PSI as well as a temperature range: -45° F to 800° F.
Capacities to 17,000lbs
