Heavy Duty Kingpinless Casters

61/62 Series

61/62 series Heavy Duty Kingpinless Casters are designed for ultimate durability and are made out of ASTM1045 drop-forged steel.  Designed for abusive and demanding applications that may cause traditional kingpin casters to fail.  This heavy duty series has a 5/16” thick top plate that integrates with a 3” diameter, precisely machined raceway.  The strong raceway houses a single row of hardened 1/2" ball bearings.  The body is formed from 3/8" steel and the double welds connect the legs to the outer raceway for maximum strength.

Grease zerks in the raceway as well as the axle allows for easy lubrication of all moving parts.  The unique offset raceway design, heat treatment, and tampering processes allows this kingpinless caster to handle the maximum weight possible for this heavy duty series.  This also helps prevent horizontal wear, kingpin failure, or fracturing of the welds.  These features enable this caster to handle side thrust force better than other designs.
