Medium-Heavy Duty Kingpinless Casters

45/46 Series

Designed for unsurpassed durability, 45/46 Medium Heavy Duty Kingpinless Series casters excel in abusive and demanding shock load applications that may cause traditional kingpin casters to fail. Made out of ASTM1045 drop-forged steel, these casters have a 1/4” thick top plate that integrates with a CNC machined raceway.  This raceway has a single row of hardened 3/8" ball bearings. The legs, formed from 1/4” steel, are double welded to the outer raceway for maximum strength.

This unique offset raceway design, heat treatment, and tampering processes allow these casters to carry the maximum weight of the bearings used.  This also helps prevent horizontal wear, kingpin failure, or fracturing of the welds.  These features enable the kingpinless casters to handle side thrust force better than other designs.  An extended swivel radius for better maneuverability is available for 6" and 8" wheel casters.  Brakes, swivel locks, toe guards, and other accessories are also available. The standard zinc plated finish is attractive as well as corrosion resistant.
